And The Winner Is...

Vietnam hosted Ms. Universe competition and the venue was really state-of-the-art. I can tell that the country really prepared for this event. Some of the candidates that I forecast appears on the top 15 except for Kosovo and Hungary. Kosovo was the shortest in terms of height and Mexico was the tallest with a height of 6 foot. As the competition goes five ladies stand out. They are the following. Ms. Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic and Russia. Again, I am right that the contest is between Ms. Colombia and Ms. Venezuela. During the Question and answer portion, Ms. Venezuela gave the best answer compare to Ms. Colombia making her the Ms. Universe. If only Ms. Colombia gave a better answer she could have won the title because she always get high scores in long gown and swim wear. Congrat's to the ladies. May they fulfill their advocacy.

Another thing that caught my attention was during Rio Mori's (Ms. Universe 2007) last walk. She wore a toxedo and this is the first time that a crowned Ms. Universe didn't wear a dress during the final walk. Anyways, she still look adorable in her toxedo.

Miss Universe 2008

Who will bring the title as the new Miss Universe? Hundreds of beautiful ladies representing their respective countries will be fighting for the crown. Last year Asian dominated the said competition and Miss Japan bring home the title, and she deserved it.
As usual, Latinas are strong competitors in the said competition. Philippines usually bring home the title as Most Photogenic, of course its because Filipinos were really gifted with one of a kind beauty. Like a descendant of Goddess of Beauty Venus. The host even confirmed that he personally like Miss Philippines and that its beauty is really stunning.
